Insurrectionists.  Domestic Terrorists.  Wanted by the FBI.

Post Insurrection

OUR United States Capitol was invaded by treasonous seditionists yesterday.  Not since the War of 1812 have enemies of America invaded the U.S. Capitol building.  These are indeed enemies of America, abetted and stirred into action by the chief treasonist trump.

As law enforcement analyzes the failure to adequately protect the Capital, the time has come for Congress to act.  There are remedies for an out-of-control president.

The 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides for members of the cabinet to remove trump from office.  It is clearly their responsibility to act immediately.  If they fail to do their duty to the country, Congress should impeach trump immediately.

It matters little that a new president will be sworn in office in 14 days.  America cannot take a chance of a repeat of yesterday, especially on January 20th.  What happened yesterday is clear evidence of sedition and treason, initiated by trump.  He MUST be removed.  If he refuses to vacate OUR White House he should be FORCIBLY removed by the U.S. Marshals.

Making the best of it in the snow.  When is spring?

Life Changes

After eight years of traveling south in the winter we've decided this was the last year for us.  We were in Arizona the month of December and sold our fifth wheel to someone in the park.  We had a site on a seasonal basis so we didn't have to tow the camper back and forth each winter.  We will miss that site and especially the mild winters.

However, because of our age and the long annual drives it became more and more difficult for us.  And, most importantly, we have family and grandkids at home in Nebraska.

So, we loaded up the trailer and left Arizona on Thursday headed home to the farm.

As I commented in past blogs, I grew up in North Dakota and learned to hate the cold and snow.  Nebraska isn't as bitter cold, yet we do get our share of snow.  I guess it's an adjustment I'll just have to make.  Life changes.  In the words of my friend Croft Randle, "life is good."
